The Moto-9 Carbon Flex Helmet is Bell’s top of the line off-road helmet, representing the best Bell has to offer in comfort and performance while also incorporating injury prevention technology that’s on the leading edge. This safety tech comes by way of their progressive 3 layer EPS system. With 3 layers of EPS as opposed to the standard 2 layers, the Carbon Flex can better compensate for low, medium, and high levels of impact by having an EPS layer designed for each. There’s also a limited "slip zone" built into the liner which means impact forces that hit the helmet at an angle will be better distributed throughout the helmet’s energy absorbing materials. This makes the Carbon Flex one of the most protective helmets available, but it’s also one of the most comfortable because the lightweight carbon fiber shell keeps your neck from fatiguing, the soft interior liner disperses all potential pressure points, and the ventilation scheme is just as solid as the standard Moto-9, even with the additional impact foam layer. Safety Progressive layering – A first-of-its kind, three-layer impact liner designed to manage energy from three potential impact scenarios: low, mid and high-speed. Adaptive fit – Segmented construction, automatically conforming to a rider’s head for a better fit and more predictable energy management. Rotational energy management – A "slip zone" within the impact liner allows for subtle movement between the inner layers and works to reduce rotational energy transfer from angular impacts. Exclusive Magnefusion™ Emergency Removal System (MERS) cheekpads. New and Improved Exclusive Magnefusion™ magnetic strap keeper. Flex Energy Management interior liner. Industry-leading Five-year warranty. Snell M2015, ECE, and DOT approved. Eject™ System ready. Comfort Ventilation – With the new segmented and flexible liner in the Moto-9 Flex, Bell was able to add to the proven Velocity Flow Ventilation system to make an even cooler helmet. Lightweight Composite Carbon shell. Fully adjustable Flying Bridge Visor™ with air intake vents. Removable/washable X-Static XT2 silver liner. Extended Wear™ interior. QuickFlip™ visor screws for easy adjustment even with gloves on. Fully ventilated EPS-lined chinbar. Integrated vented roost guard. Padded chin strap with D-ring closure. Padded, lined helmet bay included. Exclusive Magnefusion™ magnetic strap keeper.
